Lee Duxbury appointed Eccleshill United manager

Eccleshill United have ended a summer-long search for a new head coach by appointing former Bradford City star Lee Duxbury.
Duxbury was most recently the Oldham Athletic assistant manager so brings plenty of contacts to Plumpton Park – the ex-midfielder also briefly played for Farsley Celtic during the 2004-05 season under Lee Sinnott.
Duxbury replaces former Leeds United striker Bobby Davison who had become a frustrated man at Eccleshill and left at the end of the season.
Eccleshill football chairman Adrian Benson said: “Lee is a highly qualified and experienced coach and he comes to us after a spell Oldham where he was until recently assistant manager.
“With Ian Banks and Bobby Davison having both held the role previously, the club are confident Lee will confident the standards that the others have set.”
